Jeff Hansel, Rochester’s premiere music and arts advocate, is heading to Hawaii in a few weeks. Greg’s flashlight beam slowly crept down the cave wall, lighting 100 million years of geology at a time. At one point, he extinguished all the lights in the cave, revealing the blackest darkness we’d ever seen. We couldn’t see our hands in front of our faces. The lights came back on, and the kids’ eyes were wide with wonder.
