ZUMBROTA — The new year at Crossings in Zumbrota starts with a concert by old favorites Bill and Kate Isles at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 3.
They have performed as a full-time, nationally touring duo since 2007, including regular stops in Zumbrota. Bill Isles, based in Duluth, was a fixture on Minnesota’s acoustic music scene for years. He suffered a cardiac arrest in 1993 and re-dedicated himself to his songs and music. Kate, a native of Rochester, met Bill at a CD release party.
Also performing will be teen musicians Sarah and Derek Birkeland and the bluegrass band Porcupine Creek.
Tickets are $16 in advance, $18 at the door, and can be reserved at Crossings and by phone at 507-732-7616.
