WINONA — A free mini-film festival, “30 Seconds in Winona,” will be held starting at 7 p.m. Friday at the Lake Park Bandshell in Winona.
The festival features 30-second films produced by Winona area people and those at-large. Activities begin at 7 p.m. and films start at 8:15 p.m. Winona films will be eligible for cash awards. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the Masonic Temple.
Films will be shown under one of five categories: Cinema of the youth (filmmakers 14 and under showcase their creative talents), life on the Mississippi, Uniquely Yours (a celebration of individualiity and creativity), marshmallow and a ruler (both must be incorporated into the 30-second short), and What’s Growing (spring and summer theme).
