Several art exhibits in southeastern Minnesota have been announced recently, including:
— “Seasons of Farming,” photographs by Ena Cisewski, at the Watershed Gallery at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha. “Our region of the state has beautiful terrain and i find many of the farm scenes very picturesque,” Cisewski said. “As the seasons change, so do the moods.”
The exhibit continues through December.
— “O.M.M.M. (Original Mandalas for Meditation and Mindfulness,” by Heather Bach, will open Monday and run through Nov. 1 in the lobby of the Performance Center on the campus of Saint Mary’s University in Winona. “People of all ages seem to be universally drawn to mandalas,” Bach said. “I believe that the mandala speaks to us of our interconnectedness and helps us connect to our own center.”
An opening reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9.
— “Depth,” art works by Dave Hart, will open with a reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at ArtHaus, 508 W. Water St., Decorah, Iowa. Hart is an art teacher at Irondale High School in the Twin Cities area. The show consists of mixed-media pieces integrating abstract spaces with three-dimensional forms. The exhibition continues through Nov. 26.
