Vertigo Theatre Factory will present “Crooked Lines,” a cooperative artistic production, Aug. 22 and 23 at the C4 Creative Salon, 324 First St. S.W., Rochester.
The show combines live original music, lyrics and performance with acting, dance, lighting and sound effects. It is intended to be a work in a state of flux, growing and changing as it is developed and performed. Three of the pieces in the show center around songs written by Bob Sanborn, John Sievers and Dianna Parks, while the rest of the material is based on poetry by Pam Whitfield.
Music will be by the Studio Z orchestra, consisting of Joel DesLauriers, Eric Straubmueller, Kevin Kleist, Ellen Thomes, Becca Stiles-Nogosek, Taylor Nogosek, Mary Manges, Parks, Sanborn and Sievers. Actors and dancers are Mandy Ruggeri, Mariah Mihm, Chris Atwood and McKay Bram. Stiles-Nogosek is the director.
Performances are at 8 p.m. both days. Admission is $10.
Visual art by Dawn Sanborn, Amber McCornack and Heather Jerdee will be shown both nights.
