Sponsored by the Rochester Downtown Farmers Market
One of the things that makes the Rochester Downtown Farmers Market unique is the diversity of the growers and their produce. Every table is full of the freshest, most nutritious and delicious produce available, and it’s all grown within 50 miles of Rochester.
Beginning June 15, the farmers market will be bi-weekly. You can find the farmers market on Wednesdays from 2-6 pm in the Apache Mall. You’ll be able to take advantage of this mid-week market through September.
A wealth of greens, asparagus, carrots, kohlrabi, rhubarb, strawberries, radishes and sweet peas ripen and make their way to the Saturday and Wednesday markets in June. You can find a more complete list of seasonal produce from Minnesota Grown.
June 25 – Radish Healthy Living Fair
July 9 – Healthy recipes demo from Mayo School Dietetic interns
July 16 – Chef demo from Sodexo/Mayo
Every week features live music from local musicians, and the market also has plenty of chef demonstrations where you can watch chefs using fresh, local produce.
You’ll find a great sense of community at the farmers market and can get to know the people who grow your food.
